Uttara is an extremely beautiful woman in her early thirties born
about fifteen years after her older sister, Devyani, and married with a
man with Rishab and has a teenage daughter with him, they love each
other very much. However, after he gets into an accident, he becomes a
drunkard and begins to beat her. For this she sends her daughter away to
a hostel to learn school so that she cannot see her torment. Rishab
then begins to sell Uttara for sex as many men desire for her as she is
extremely beautiful and while reluctant, Uttara gives in. Eventually she
cannot handle Rishab's tormenting anymore and ends up killing him. She
is consoled by Devyani's family, the Jakhar family. She is free from all

(shortened to Brahma). She is welcomed into their house and is given a
spare room to live in, though at first she does not feel fully welcomed
